Creating a plan for COVID-19

With the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we know you’ve got a lot on your mind. The health of you and your loved ones is likely at the top of the list.

While everyone’s situation is unique, you can often build peace of mind by creating an emergency family plan.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP), provided through our partner LifeCare, suggests a few tips in the Coronavirus: Planning and Preparing brochure, including:

  • Creating an emergency contact list
  • Practicing preventive actions and
  • Identifying possible aid organizations

It’s also a good idea to create a specific plan for household members who may be more greatly impacted by COVID-19, including aging loved ones or those who have compromised immune systems. The EAP offers more suggestions for these situations.
